Lawyer/Attorney (Tax and Customs Disputes) @ Arzinger Law Firm
Job description
We are looking for a lawyer (advocate) who is committed to professional development in the field of tax and customs law , is ready for complex but interesting tasks, work with well-known Ukrainian and international clients and participate in high-level litigation. If you have a thorough knowledge of the law, analytical thinking and the ability to defend a position with arguments – this opportunity is for you.
Main responsibilities
- advising clients on taxation and customs regulation issues at the Ukrainian and international levels;
- conducting legal research on various issues of Ukrainian legislation;
- preparation of legal documents: memoranda, opinions, contracts, procedural documents;
- interaction with government agencies, participation in court hearings;
- participation in PR activities (publications, comments, conferences);
- monitoring changes in legislation and judicial practice;
- general legal support of practice projects.
Requirements
- higher legal education;
- 3 or more years of relevant experience in a leading law or audit firm;
- having a certificate of the right to practice law is mandatory;
- deep theoretical knowledge of tax and customs legislation of Ukraine and fundamental international documents;
- in-depth knowledge of the procedural legislation of Ukraine;
- English level – Upper-Intermediate or higher;
- ability to prepare high-quality analytical, procedural and commercial documents;
- high level of presentation skills, time management and prioritization;
- ability to work effectively with a large amount of information in a short time frame under pressure;
- developed analytical thinking and communication skills.
