Senior Associate, Life Sciences & Healthcare @ Arzinger Law Firm

Arzinger is recruiting a Senior Associate in the Life Sciences & Healthcare practice to join the team.

As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to participate in the implementation of socially significant projects and the development of our country, working on reforms in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, combating corruption and competition. You will be involved in the key business processes of our clients – international and local pharmaceutical companies, clinics and other major players in the healthcare sector.

Main responsibilities

• independent legal support of complex projects in the areas of Life Sciences & Healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical, competition and anti-corruption law;

• advising Ukrainian and international clients on regulatory, commercial and corporate issues;

• preparation of legal memoranda, legal opinions, contracts, policies, legal positions and other legal materials;

• Independent project management, coordination of the work of junior lawyers and paralegals, ensuring high quality of task performance;

• building and developing long-term relationships with clients, participating in the preparation of commercial proposals and developing practice;

• participation in and preparation of legal reviews, publications, presentations, webinars, professional events and other PR and Business Development initiatives;

• monitoring legislative changes and regulatory trends with the preparation of practical recommendations for clients.

Our expectations:

• 4 or more years of relevant experience in Life Sciences & Healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical, competition or anti-corruption law;

• complete higher legal education;

• English at Advanced level (C1) ;

• practical experience in consulting Ukrainian and international clients;

• experience in independently managing complex legal projects and coordinating the work of a project team;

• high level of legal expertise, analytical and strategic thinking, focus on finding practical business solutions;

• excellent communication skills, responsibility and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
