Responsibilities
- Research and consulting on various legal issues (primarily in the field of capital market regulation, commodity markets, banking and other financial services, corporate governance)
- Participation in the development of laws and subordinate regulations (in particular, regarding the adaptation of Ukrainian legislation in the field of regulation of capital markets, commodity markets, virtual assets, banking and other financial services to the European acquis communautaire)
- Conducting an independent audit of companies (in the above-mentioned subject area and on a relevant range of issues related to the regulation of commodity markets/capital markets, financial services, corporate governance)
- Supervising the work of junior colleagues and evaluating their results
Requirements
- From 3 years of experience in an international or leading Ukrainian law firm, or Big 4 company, or NGOs/consulting organizations/projects specializing in legislation in areas relevant to this position/financial institutions/institutions that carry out state regulation of activities related to the provision of financial and supporting services
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of civil, corporate and commercial law, banking legislation, capital markets, commodity markets, financial services, and currency legislation.
- Experience in preparing consultations and/or analytical materials in these areas
- English language proficiency level – B2 and above
