Job description
Lawyer – multidisciplinary R&D bureau (part of the defense industrial complex)
In the office/on site — Full-time. Schedule: Mon–Fri 9:00–18:00 (Sat — as needed).
Main responsibilities:
- Contract work: legal expertise, preparation and approval of contracts (including foreign economic activity), support of negotiations, risk control and fulfillment of conditions.
- Identifying, analyzing and implementing solutions to minimize legal risks in daily operations.
- Legislative monitoring: tracking changes, assessing business impact, and preparing recommendations for teams.
- Consulting departments (finance, HR, production, procurement, R&D).
- Ensuring compliance: labor, tax, commercial legislation.
- Interaction with government agencies: preparation of applications/responses, support of communications, representation of the company’s interests.
- Development and updating of internal policies, regulations, corporate decisions and procedures.
Candidate requirements:
- Higher legal education.
- 5 years of legal experience (in-house or in consulting).
- Practical knowledge of civil, commercial, tax and labor law.
- Strong experience in contractual work, including foreign economic contracts.
- Experience in an international or leading Ukrainian law firm is a significant advantage.
- Experience in miltech is an advantage.
- The right to practice law would be a plus.
- English — from B1 (for working with documents and/or communications).
