Head of Legal Department
Stellar Jet is seeking an experienced Head of Legal to provide legal support to the company’s activities, protect its interests, and develop the legal function in line with the strategic goals of the business.
Main responsibilities
- Organization and management of the work of the legal department.
- Setting tasks, monitoring their implementation and reporting to management.
- Full legal support for the company’s activities.
- Protecting the company’s legitimate interests and minimizing legal risks.
- Representation of the company in courts, government agencies and during interactions with counterparties.
- Formation of the company’s legal position in controversial issues.
- Legal advice to management on corporate, commercial, labor, contractual and other areas of law.
- Support for contractual work, claims and litigation activities, and interaction with government agencies.
- Monitoring the compliance of the company’s activities with the requirements of current legislation.
Requirements
- Higher legal education.
- Work experience in the field of law for over 10 years.
- Experience in managing a team of lawyers.
- Experience working in an international or leading Ukrainian law firm is an advantage.
- Experience in MilTech or the defense-industrial complex is an advantage.
- A certificate of the right to practice law is desirable.
- English language — from IELTS level 5.0.
- High level of responsibility, systems thinking, leadership qualities, ability to make decisions and work in a highly dynamic environment.
