Legal Counsel
Company: Baker Tilly Ukraine Accounting Services Location: Kyiv, Fizkultury Street, 28 (near the Olimpiyska metro station) Work format: hybrid, full-time, work schedule Monday-Friday, 9:00-18:00
Main tasks:
- advise Ukrainian and international clients on a wide range of legal issues;
- analyze client requests and offer practical legal solutions;
- prepare consultations, legal opinions, memoranda, etc.;
- develop, review and agree on contracts;
- support corporate, contractual, labor and other current issues of clients;
- prepare corporate documents, letters, requests and other legal materials;
- analyze legislation and the practice of its application;
- communicate with clients, notaries, government agencies and other involved parties;
- participate in complex projects together with accounting, tax and HR teams;
- monitor legislative changes and explain their impact to clients.
Requirements:
- higher legal education;
- at least 3 years of relevant experience;
- Practical experience in legal consulting, a law firm, or in a legal position that involved working with various business requests;
- knowledge of corporate, civil, and labor law;
- experience in preparing legal documentation (consultations, opinions, contracts, analytical notes, etc.);
- ability to independently handle client requests from receiving the task to providing the final result;
- ability to explain complex legal issues in business-friendly language;
- attention to detail, responsibility and systems thinking;
- ability to multitask and meet deadlines;
- English at a level sufficient for correspondence, document preparation and communication with international clients.
