Then, perhaps, we are looking for you. We – Baker Tilly Ukraine Accounting Services – are a team of professionals that provides comprehensive accounting, tax, HR and legal services to Ukrainian and international companies. We are currently developing the direction of legal and tax consulting and are looking for a consultant who can independently work with client requests, conduct legal and tax analysis and help businesses find practical solutions. Main tasks:
- process customer requests, collect and analyze the necessary information,
- conduct legal and tax research and prepare practical recommendations; prepare consultations, legal and tax opinions, memoranda and other analytical materials;
- develop, review and approve contracts and other legal documentation;
- provide legal and tax support to internal teams, including in interaction with accountants and HR;
- participate in complex projects together with accounting, tax and HR teams;
- monitor changes in legislation and assess their impact on clients’ activities. We expect you to:
- higher legal education;
- at least 3 years of relevant experience;
- practical experience in tax or legal consulting, law firm or as a lawyer/tax consultant;
- knowledge of tax , civil and corporate law;
- experience in conducting legal and tax research, preparing consultations, opinions, memoranda, contracts and other legal documentation;
- the ability to independently process a request – from collecting and analyzing information to preparing the final result;
- ability to explain complex legal and tax issues in business-friendly language;
- attention to detail, responsibility and systems thinking;
- ability to multitask and meet deadlines;
- English at a level sufficient for correspondence, document preparation and working with international clients.
