Job description
Vyriy Industries is a Ukrainian Defense Tech company that develops and serially produces autonomous systems for operation in real combat conditions for over 200 units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine . Requirements:
- Development, processing of approvals and complex multi-level contracts (deliveries, purchases and sales, provision of services, leases, performance of banking works, insurance, leasing, NDAs, memorandums of cooperation, etc.);
- Participation in the development and improvement of the company’s internal policies, regulations, corporate decisions and procedures;
- Advising managers and structural divisions of the company on legal issues;
- Monitoring legislative changes and assessing their impact on the company’s activities;
- Assessment of legal risks when launching new products, projects and partnerships;
- Monitoring changes in legislation and informing businesses about the impact of such changes on the company’s activities;
- Interaction with government agencies: preparation of applications/responses, support of communications, representation of the company’s interests;
- Preparation of documents and support for the creation, reorganization, liquidation of legal entities, amendments to the charter and data in the Unified State Register.
What we expect:
- High level of responsibility and consistency;
- Experience working with contracts: analysis, editing, approval, adaptation of templates;
- Ability to prepare clear legal opinions and explain legal positions to business teams in understandable language;
- Ability to defend one’s position with arguments;
- Willingness to actively communicate with internal customers and not avoid difficult tasks;
- Structural thinking, consistency, attention to detail, ability to self-control;
- Maturity and proactivity: the ability to come up with not only questions, but also solutions;
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and make decisions independently.
Candidate requirements:
- Higher legal education;
- From 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in-house in a commercial company;
- Practical knowledge of civil, commercial, tax and labor law;
- Experience in preparing internal policies, regulations, orders or instructions;
- Experience in interacting with government agencies;
- Experience in pre-trial dispute resolution or support of conflict cases;
- Experience working in a manufacturing, technology or defense company would be an advantage.
