Lawyer supporting investment funds

• Higher legal education.
• 2–3 years of experience in the field of contractual activities (experience in AMC will be an advantage).
• Practical experience in construction, investments and financial instruments.
• Experience in developing and updating internal regulations and contractual documentation.
• Attention to detail, systematicity and a high level of responsibility.
• Ability to independently conduct legal projects.

Main responsibilities

• Legal support of professional activities in the capital markets, in particular the activities of an asset management company, investment firm, and depository institution.
• Legal support for the activities of corporate investment funds (priority investment areas are construction and real estate).
• Legal support for purchase and sale agreements of assets of collective investment institutions (in particular real estate).
• Development, analysis and support of contracts of varying complexity (purchase and sale of real estate, property rights, financial instruments, contract agreements, contracts for the development of project documentation, lease, supply, marketing, licensing, etc.).
• Providing legal advice to the company’s structural divisions and communicating with clients (preparing legal opinions and consultations regarding the activities of collective investment institutions, asset management, transactions with financial instruments and depository activities).
• Interaction with compliance, risk management, and financial monitoring departments.
• Monitoring and analysis of changes in Ukrainian legislation, regulatory legal acts of the National Securities and Markets Commission.
• Preparing responses to inquiries (private executors, notaries, regulatory authorities) and preparing operational legal documents (requests, letters, powers of attorney, etc.).

Your competencies

• In-depth knowledge of civil, commercial, corporate, land, tax and intellectual property law.
• Strong contract work skills — from drafting to adaptation.
• Practical knowledge of construction, investments, and financial instruments.
• Understanding the legal mechanisms of investing in construction and real estate through joint investment institutions.
• Experience in an asset management company (working with funds focused on construction and real estate) will be an advantage.
• Experience in interacting with regulatory authorities.
