OUR HISTORY

Sergii Koziakov & Partners was established in June 1994 as a law firm specialising in Corporate Law, State Property Privatization, Litigation and International Business Activity. SK&Partners was at the outset of legal market development in Ukraine and was the first law firm to render legal assistance to Ukrainian and foreign private entrepreneurs and businesses as well as foreign investors doing business in independent Ukraine. In early 1990s our business priorities were resolving numerous legal issues experienced by entrepreneurs and businesses in Ukraine, providing legal support of the international business activity and state property privatization. We drafted the first laws of Ukraine on state property privatization, international business activity, etc. Our lawyers also assisted in drafting the structure of Ukrainian military goods export. In late 1990s we were actively involved in developing Litigation (Arbitration) Practice, Tax Practice and Competition Law Practice. In early 2000s we were among the Ukrainian law firms involved in developing International Trade Practice.
