Ukraine2EU is a flagship initiative of the European Union designed to support Ukraine in successfully completing its

EU accession process and preparing for EU membership.

This is a €20.2 million project launched by the EU, Lithuania, and Denmark and joined by Sweden, Ireland and Poland, which provides targeted assistance to Ukraine as it navigates the important stage of its journey toward EU membership.

Ukraine2EU is offering assistance in four key areas:

• Strengthening the capacities of Ukraine’s key actors and stakeholders in coordinating and monitoring the EU accession process and related reforms agenda.
• Increasing the availability of legal expertise necessary for the effective and full adaptation of Ukrainian legislation with the EU acquis.
• Enhancing overall institutional, procedural, and methodological capacities of designated institutions in the EU acquis translation.
• Raising awareness and ensuring deeper understanding among Ukrainian society and key stakeholder groups about accession to the EU and related reforms.
